Well it looks like I'm going to go get Cari on the 29th of July. It's a saturday and I'm sad to miss a Shabbat service. I've really come to rely on those weekly worship and fellowship services for a positive spiritual boost for the rest of the week. I asked Rabbi Loren if I would be breaking the Sabbath if I went to get her. I explained the situation and he said "Roen, go get your friend". So *whew* I'm not breaking a commandment because this is for the good of someone else. Even Yeshua healed people on the Shabbat.

Baptism is still scheduled for the 23rd. The weekend before Cari gets here.. I wish she could be there but it's ok. My parents are coming and so is one of my sisters. and Ken and Jake of course because they "have to"... (he's just teasing me when he says that... ).

I'm sitting here feeling like a dumbass because I had a pdoc appt. today that i completely missed. i was so busy on the phone that i didn't even look at the time until it was 9:35 and my appt. was at 9:40. So i had to call and reschedule. They were nice about it though because i've never missed an appointment until now. Joel is going to be upset because he really wanted me to talk to her today because of the hallucinations (mild ones) that i'm having all the time since i started this diet. I have to admit the voices are worse at night and last night they kept me up for awhile. The key is to make sure I eat fat with my meds at bedtime. So I'm allowed 2 servings of fat a day (like peanut butter or mayo). So i'm eating a mini snickers bar now with my meds each night (Joel's idea). So now I get a daily treat and incentive to take my meds while still losing weight!

I went to my family doctor on Tuesday and he said i've lost 17 pounds! I got on the scale this morning and now it's more like 20. I'm so relieved that I got past that 15 pound plateau.

Other than that my life has been pretty routine. routines are good for everyone but especially people with schiz. They alleviate stress.
