Well I carpooled to Bible study last night with a girl from just outside of lansing that rabbi Loren put me in touch with. Her name is Rachel and she's very nice. She's a Jewish Believer and it was fun having her along for the ride. I hope and think we're becoming friends. The hour and fifteen minute drive gets lonely sometimes. Having her there made the time just fly by and we were at Shema in what seemed to be half the time it takes when i'm alone. Of course it took the same amount of time it always does but the conversation made it go by faster. We talked about how great rabbi Loren is and how nice and kind he is and yet at the same time strong in his convictions and no nonsense. Truly, in my opinion, a man of God. I got home about 9 pm and i was so tired... i'm wondering how i'm going to possibly stay awake for the Hebrew classes after Bible study starting in the fall. lots of coffee i guess. but i really want to go. Other than that, not much else is new... i'm getting baptised soon. Rabbi Loren says he has to schedule it and will let me know. oh and Rabbi Glenn is doing a motorcycle ride (Harleys of course) for life and is trying to raise 5,000 dollars to benefit a crisis women's pregnancy center that helps women have their babies instead of feeling like they have to have an abortion. it's a very good cause so i signed up to sponsor him and he's raised 4100 so far.. he's 900 away from his goal and has about a month to do it. i think he'll make it.
