Well I'm back on track.. more than back on track actually. woo hoo! Money is flowing again. I haven't had a set back like that since i first moved back to michigan!... It was a stupid mistake on my part but everything's good now. I still hate money in general though.
I had my first piano lesson on Thursday. I'll go every week from now until infinity.. i'm determined to learn to play. I need to buy a metronome. My teacher's name is Sean and he's my age. I was so nervous my hands were shaking... I hope i get over that soon. But i was a little taken aback.. he kept touching my hands and it made me really nervous... i know he probably has to do that to teach me but i wasn't expecting it and it doesn't help that he's really good looking! LOL Anyway i made it through that first lesson and have been practicing diligently. It occurred to me that i'm going to be seeing as much of this guy as i do Joel, my therapist! Anyway, i've been pecking out 'Ode to Joy' and 'I'd like to teach the world to sing' and 'Amazing Grace'...
I had a bit of a flood in my kitchen this morning. I was making pancakes for Jake.. and had just filled the big water pitcher and put it in the fridge. Jake went to get something out of the fridge and accidently knocked the pitcher onto the kitchen floor... i was wearing my underdog pajama bottoms and they are kind of long so my pajamas got all soaked on the bottoms. i tried to use the mop but that was useless so we got some towels and soaked most of it up. Well i'm off to practice piano some more.
