In honour of nothing in particular

I have added a new section to my site. A space for me to dump lots of random files or whatever the hell it is I want to. Seeing it looks silly when it says "No files found.", I have wasted about an hour uploading 40MB of photos.

For the whole world to see:

My apologies for anyone actually trying to get to my site in the last few days. Something on server3 seems to be killing it at a regular interval and as a result, my site and emails go offline for a few hours at a time.

If you were trying to get here I thank you for your persistance and I will do my best to keep any and all information available.

6 months to find a typo

I just did a quick search for myself in Google and I'm 4th for the word "Maz" today. In the little bit of a description for my site that it shows it had "maz.met.au" and I couldn't work out where it was. I'm glad to say that I did eventually track it down and fix it.

It makes me think, If google is finding non-rendered information, maybe I could make all the content on my site invisible so no-one has to read it, unless you specifically searched it.

The nothingness

As a result of being on holidays, and everyone else being on holidays, I really have nothing much to do. So I am going to start work on the 3rd version of my site. Keeping the modular design I currently use but adding more abstraction layers to do common items easily (i.e. a form builder, configuration manager). I have the main parts of the code worked out already after writing it for version 2.07 or whatever I'm up to but there will be still be major differences. Like the ability to store files in a database instead of text files and so on. As soon as I have a complete feature list worked out I will put it up on here and start working on the new pieces of code. The last version of my site took about a month to write but I am confident that I worked out the design problems last time and can now work on the usability of this CMS.

Anyone else as bored as me and know PHP, feel free to email me and leave contact details can join in. This is a non-profit project so I can only offer bragging rights for your work. :) This is going to be a lot of work. Expect more news of me staying up all night coding.
Happy easter.

About 3 months ago I rewrote my site and completely restructured it. As a result the RSS feeds moved. This is for the few people who obviously haven't updated their links (and as a result probably won't read this). Please re-add the RSS feeds.
