Now a million of those popped up when I plugged in my normal MP3 player. It also hid the video I was watching and stopped me pausing or stopping it. I could just hear all the bits I was missing. What the little window said was...

Handy thing that. Let this be a reminder, never try use your computer when you have media player open. It's like a plague or virus.

As you can see, 'row' is a string. It exists and has a value. The value in it is a string. This came up because I couldn't call ".Split(':')" on this string. As it turns out it doesn't even have a .ToString() method. So basically I have a non-existing, non-object thing that doesn't have any methods but it has a value.

If anyone has ANY ideas please leave a comment.

I happened to be on the MSDN site for work when I found this.

Why would anyone make this mistake and then post it to a huge site like that? Where is the QA?

Dopod 838Pro

I bought a new phone last week and it arrived a couple of days ago. It's a Dopod 838Pro which is a re-badged I-mate JasJam. I picked it up on ebay because 3, (the phone company) sold out earlier this month and aren't getting any more 'til Feburary. Anyway it's a PocketPC 5 smartphone that does pretty much everything. Even does phone calls! (Not that I'd ever use such a useless feature).

This is all very lucky because I just killed the software on my laptop. I'll be on MSN on my phone if anyone wants me. (except when I'm in the movie).
