There was a zombie walk through the city in Brisbane today. www.brisbanezombiewalk.com. It was crazy fun and the police were actually blocking traffic so they could get hundreds of zombies through the city as quickly as possible. I was there taking photos, apparently an idea that tons of other people had too, including commercial tv stations.

I was in front of the crowd most of the time with a portrait lens so I would wait for the horde to catch up and take photos as they walked past. This worked until one guy decided to lunge at me, and wipe red all over me. Learning from this I pretended to bash him with my camera next time he got close and it resulted in me being chased by 3 of them for a bit. Not to mention having some zombie girl suck my ear.

Before anyone lays into me about it being a shit panorama let me mention 2 things...
1. It was done with the camera held vertically (i.e. portrait layout).
2. Done on full auto settings in Panorama Factory. No brains and 6 mins required.

I had to fill in an hour or so.. Nothing special. Just testing.

Today we went off the beaten track a bit and walked up Coomera Gorge. This involved walking through a river for 10 hours. After a million slippery rocks my shoes gave in and were the only casualty of the walk. A bit of rain made us rush back faster than we otherwise would have and photos were missed because of this. Also no one cared by then. More info later if I care.
Unfortunately I do not recommend this to anyone unless you have walked up a short river before and know what it's like. Here are just a few of the photos though. Just in case you want to know what you're missing.
