Did I ever tell you why I like this? The lights are so bright and shiny and they remind me of snow, glittering just right under the setting sun. Or maybe snow doesn't do that in real life and only in my head. I imagine that snow that burns bright like lights must taste so sweet and so refreshing, the way dew is supposed to taste when licked directly from a rose's petals. But these lights sort of remind me of the worms James ate in James and the Giant Peach. Bright green glowy worms that shined through organ and skin. Have you seen that movie? If you haven't you will. It's an integral part of childhood.
