Telstra card the third

And I promise this is the last post specifically about this shit service not working. I even did a screenshot this time. Apparently it fails the basic test looking for the default gateway. No hardware spazzing out this time, but still no internet.

Ringing Telstra is absolutely no use. If you do get through the horribly long queue, all they can do is run you through a basic checklist and then send you another card because this one must be faulty. Apparently the network being rubbish isn't an option. I'm curious to know how many, (supposedly $500), cards they will send me before they admit it's just a rubbish service?
But then I realise I don't care.
So now if anyone has any suggestions how to get rid of this contract for a service that doesn't work as advertised without paying it out please comment. This doesn't work at the places I go out of the city either (apparently it doesn't cover where CDMA used to) so I'm best off using a data pack on my phone plan with 3. Please comment with getting-rid-of-Telstra suggestions as I'm just sick of this.

That means ringing through to accounts. Worst queue ever. But I'll try that next time I have a speakerphone. Last time they said they wouldn't disconnect it unless I paid the rest out. I didn't try asking for a refund. That might do the trick.

part of the contract is that they are to provide you with a working card. They've failed to do that, so they've failed to keep their end of the contract, thus you dont have to keep yours.
