Michael Page International technology associate director Emily Holman:
"The bulk of recruitment at the moment is top-end .NET architects and .NET developers. They would be the skill set in most demand at the moment across all organisations."

Yay for me for the win!
What is a top-end .NET architect/developer? Also, what is a bottom-end .NET architect/developer? Or is it just a silly word to sound meaningful?

Same as saying senior. But that doesn't apply to something that is as new as .Net (because senior people aren't old, they just have more experience).
Or it's to do with the amount of money spent on the system they're working on.
Either way I'm the arse-end, (i.e. a developer according to my job description).
