Southbank Water Feature: Now with 100% more imported water

Technically the first photo isn't so much related to the rest but I thought I'd rather start things off with a dull, boring, plain and dark photo so that no one got their hopes up.
So here it is:
The crap one.

Now I suppose I'll just scatter the rest about the bottom of the page but before I do. I'm not sure how many people have sat around at the water feature thing they put in at Southbank, letalone at night. It really does look pretty amazing. The weirdest bit had to be the fake thunder, fake lightning (so I'm told), and fake rain that randomly comes down on people walking by. While it might all be fake, the water itself is real enough, and that's not real good for a few thousand dollars of camera equipment. After it stopped we resumed the playing-in-water-like-kids and took some photos.

Figure 1: A Runway for a pilot on drugs, (Nevermind the fence).

Figure b: A flower for you
Notice the little water droplets from the fake rain on the flower, also reflecting the pink light.

Diagram x: Liquid light-pipes
These are very cool. It shoots out a stream of water that is perfectly round and a light shines up from the start and is reflected by the water and bends. It only shows up when something disrupts this, like a hand.

Whoops: An accident in art

Figure 3: Traffic light reflections.

Some leaves underwater. They don't look like it tho.

Purple mist rises from the pond.

The thing.

In case pink isn't your colour.
The water droplets show up much better with the light blue too.
And that is all. I hope you enjoyed the show and I'll probably be out there again another day doing some other photos that I hadn't thought about this time. Next time I'm going swimming too.

They turn off the lights after a certain time - not sure when, but 9 or 10 o'clock is a good guess. I went down there again and the lights were off.

I imagine it's hillarious when you're trashed off your head. But I forgot to ask the guys that were there when I was taking these photos.
