An Indooroopilly adventure

It started out as a trip to West End but somehow I was convinced not to go that way. Instead I walked to the Taringa shops via an overpass over Moggill Rd where I admired the city view and took some photos of the cars on the street.

From here, Lisa and I walked to Swann Rd for a better view of the city from the street opposite Clarence Rd and this is what we saw..

After a dozen or so photos from there we somehow decided that it would be an excellent idea to take photos of the Walter Taylor Bridge. As luck would have it we were walking past a Mc Donalds on our way there and just as we walked under the rail line they turned off their light. It was still open for 5 more minutes so I got a Sundae and we walked the rest of the way to the bridge which isn't nearly as impressive as I had thought.

A long walk back via the top level of the shopping centre car park saw us home right on midnight. Nothing like a 2 hour walk to kill some time. Shame about the photo opportunities.

The views were pretty poor. The bridge was kinda cool. I like all that urban stuff. I'm still impressed that someone lives there

See the windows on the tower? Those are for the people living in there. There is a balcony and little pot-plant garden on the other side.
