Ice skating yesterday. Other stuff today
In category General on 09 Jan 2006 @ 02:05 pm
I went ice skating yesterday but I never actually got around to writing it down. Well it was good fun, not quite as easy as rollerblades. The ice skates don't lace up as high as blades so they were twisting on my ankles a bit so I got very sore very quick. We gave up after an hour or so but I didn't fall down the whole time. It was awesome fun and I think I might try and get some inline skates when I get back to Brisbane. Been working on my site lots.

Today I didn't really do anything except go and see "Wolf Creek" which was kind of.. not as good as I thought it would be. Australians just aren't scary, and can't make horror films. Worked on my site some more.

I love ice skating, I'm no good at it though. Gets a bit boring just going around the rink

I was doing ok. Dodging people was fun. I even tried to fall over once just to say I did but I didn't want to wipe out a whole heap of little kids.

LOL. Why not? Its way more fun if you squish a little kid, at least it wouldnt hurt your butt when you land, you need the padding :P

Skating is fun. Since I'm a Norwegian I have been skating since I was a kid.
We are going on the ice today... outdoors!

They closed down the outdoor skating area here which is a shame. It's to do with the high insurance costs.. crappy reason.

That is crappy, they should have a "You enter at your own risk" sign or something, so if people are dumb and fuck themselves up, they can't blame it on the company.
