Mod_rewrite rules are at hand!

In the wee hours of this morning I set up all the mod_rewrite rules to make all the URL's look a bit tidier.

http://maz.net.au/~maz will take you to my section.
http://maz.net.au/~maz/1134000585 will take you to a specific post. http://maz.net.au/~maz/Geebin will take you to my 'Geebin' category. http://maz.net.au/~maz/galleries/ is a shortcut to my gallery selection page while http://maz.net.au/~maz/galleries/animals/ and http://maz.net.au/~maz/galleries/animals/IMG_2611.jpg takes you to subsets respectively.

It's all a bit of voodoo as far as anyone is concerned but as soon as I have a bit of a nap I'll go through the process of converting the links on my site to the shorter ones.

Menu links have been changed. Stuff the rest at the moment. Half my site is now driven by a access file. There are now 10 RewriteRules that change all the URL's.
http://maz.net.au/~maz/history/2005.12.06 with or without day or month will search the history.
