Did somebody say "squigital camera"?

The other day I bought a new Canon Powershot Pro1 digital camera.

It's an 8 megapixel digital camera with 7x optical zoom. Allowing a max resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels. It's about as good as you can get without going to digital SLR (which was an option), but realistically, this was half the price. I've been having lots of fun experimenting with all the modes and stuff. It has a maximum exposure of 15 seconds which I hope will be long enought for me to take photos of stars next time I'm in Pitts.
The full technical description is available from Canon's website. For a sample of my photos I have already put up a 'macro' gallery.
Keep an eye on the galleries to see what I'm up to.
