Well how did it go?

Short answer. DON'T ASK!
Our demo managed to crash spectacularly on multiple occasions, and we also had nothing work how it was meant to when it did work. I think we almost would have done better with no code. Just a blank project. In the middle of our demo, the Pocket PC battery went flat so we were stopped and given a new Pocket PC with the date and time set to 4am, 28th Feburary 2004, which of course crashed our Pocket PC app.

The desktop managed to run entirely without crashing. There were exceptions raised from people's badly written SQL statements and some of the functionality failed outright, but the program kept running. It even ran relatively fast with all the threads querying oracle in the background to increase performance.

Unfortunately I was unable to fix the C# code which was half of our VB.NET project!! I don't know where that code came from, or why it was in our project but some members of our team had used that instead of my nice, neat, uncrashable database abstraction layer. Of course the C# code crashed right off the start. I'm start to wonder if one of our group members was deliberately trying to sabotage our group. Though I can't see the advantage..
This brings me to a point I became enlightened about during our demonstration.. NEVER DO GROUP PROJETS!! If you do, rule them with an iron fist.

However it wasn't all bad as the design and documentation done by Tia has been excellent all the way through, and Avi did an excellent job with his work.

I might post up sample code snippets or something later. I don't know what to do about this at the moment. This is a very badly run course.

Not good. All is bad. Woe. Our demo went well right up until we ran out of time. In Ken and Darren's favour though, they did let us continue until the end of the main desktop functionality, even though we were approaching ten minutes over time.

Like I said, watch out for 7's new program.. The Mole: Campus. Watch what you sign Maz, it might be a waiver for your right not to appear on television.
