There is no hibernate tab. On a fresh install.

Try getting linux to work normally.. That's what I've been doing over the first weekend of this semester. These few days, I've installed the following to my HDD only to find them not work in one way or another: Fedora, Mandriva, Knoppix (HDD install), debian (net install).
Right now, debian is turning out to be the one I've had the most patience for - simply because it's debian.

Oh, and I resized my ntfs partition and reinstalled a fresh Windows. And that's not free from problems either - Windows Update doesn't want to work with it.
