The other night I was looking at an assignment that a QUT student was doing. I don't know what subject this was for but surely it was a first year subject? Here is the starting java source files. Source. Even without looking at the spec sheet you can generally finish this assignment in 15 - 20 minutes. Most of the code is there already in comments. If you really want to make it easy on yourself you should read the spec sheet that actually starts off with the sentence "This assignment aims to give you a “real world experience”".
