Raining frozen cats and dogs?

OMG it's freezing here! It was beautiful weather this morning. Just that sort of 'crisp' cold as I attended my weekly CSSE3004 bore-the-shit-out-of-me lecture. KJ, Thei and I went to Indro for lunch (as is tradition), where I purchased another Ice Cube cd as well as my KFC.
Lunch kinda ran late so we rushed back to our CSSE3004 tutorial where I scribbled correct answers all over some random piece of paper. KJ and I then attended our INFS3202 lecture and Thei went off, presumably to the labs or something. Near the end of the lecture we heard thunder and then heavy rain and we thought about what windows we'd left open, (the drivers side of the Granduer?), before our lecture finished and we had the privilege of walking through freezing rain to Leo's carpark.
On the drive home we discovered what all the noise was about.. There up to a foot of ice (tiny hail) dumped on Toowong and surrounding suburbs. It looked almost like snow (except bigger) and was as slippery as hell. In the middle of Brisbane!!

That was basically the highlight of my day now I had better do some work before bed.

Nope. No snow here either. We'll just be getting hurricanes soon. Lots and lots of hurricanes. Should be fun. Don't worry, I'll keep you updated on hurricane status. I'll miss loads of school.
