Telstra

F***ing Telstra. Tonight I have a marvelous cable internet connection in Brisbane, somewhere close to 9600 baud. I sent a file and timed it to work out the speed.. 1:45 to establish a connection and 1:25 to send a 27630 byte file. OMG! 325 b/s! Everyone visiting my site (or trying to) for the next 5 hours will notice this typical Telstra connection. The Telstra site states "Customers will not be able to logon for short periods of time, and may experience delays with self care operations during this time." so surely I can't complain too much if this is a planned outage, right?
WRONG! This is the typical service I have been experiencing for the few days / week now. I have emailed Telstra support who replied stating that they didn't detect any problems for that time. Yeah? Try use their 'service' and you'll detect a freaking problem! As soon as my contract runs out I will be changing to ANY other internet provider. *Maz phones Optus*

Neither does Telstra. Which is no problem as I'm going to get this hosted properly so everyone can see it.. Except those of us using the Telstra 'service' will have to wait a few minutes for each page.
