Who Is Ariel?
In category This Is Where I Pretend I Can Write! on 04 Jun 2006 @ 05:55 am
I wrote this one day in biology as I was bored and, well, when you're as big of a bionurd as I am, you find public schooling does nothing for you. Anyway, I've graduated so it doesn't matter any more! (dances) Okay. Anyway. Here we are. A little short about me. October 15th MMV. Two months after my birthday, two months before my conception day.
Oh and all of this is completely true. You can ask my mother and my friends. Mostly my mother, especially about where I was found. She was the one who found me. Also: I like metaphors.
(laughs) I actually like this one. I think because of the ending. It's my favorite part.

Ariel was discovered behind an animal hospital in a cabbage patch within a hollowed log. She is a rare mix of pirate and ninja and resides in the jungles of South Florida where she enjoys movie parties, meaningful discussions, and long walks on the beach. If you would like to get in touch with the elusive Ariel, your best bet is to search online. Although this creature is ubiquitous, she is nearly invisible and can only be seen via text. As she is fearless she can readily admit to being nerdy: spending too much time on IRC (whereby she meets other strange creatures around the globe and learns their native tongues), speaking perfect 1337(she is xaleth), and drooling over comics (in every form) and biology equally. She is not a mermaid. She is not a red-headed floozy. She does not even have red hair. Ariel is a lion and a dragon, known for her large stockpiles of beautiful jewelry. She is niether young nor old. She is a metaphor-speaking sibyl exalted in Delphi's empyrean. She is Ammit and the Feather of Truth adorns her hair. She will eat your soul if crossed but is a mother-pelican to those who treat her well. For your own safety, remember that Ariel's friends are an extension of her self and therefore you should not wrong them lest you wish to incur her wrath. She has written a book, starred in a movie, and won awards in debate and in dance. She does not like camels.
